Broadex Recoveries is a specialized maritime law firm and cargo claim recovery agency based in Mumbai, India. Our services are provided exclusively to cargo owners, shipowners, P&I clubs, and marine insurers. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions governing our professional relationship.
1. Scope of Services
We provide expert legal representation and recovery strategies for cargo claims under the Hague-Visby Rules, COGSA, and General Average principles. Our work includes drafting notices of claim, negotiating with carriers and NVOCCs, and managing subrogation recovery for marine insurers.
2. Client Responsibilities
As a client, you are responsible for providing all necessary documentation, including original bills of lading, cargo manifests, and evidence of loss. You must also provide timely notice of claim as required by the relevant maritime regulations and contractual obligations.
3. Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any claims or damages arising from the services provided is strictly limited to the fees and expenses actually incurred in connection with the specific recovery matter. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
4. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising from the interpretation or enforcement of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai.
